First May Bank Holiday!

First May Bank Holiday!
Sort A-Z

Suggested trip created by All About Ipswich

It’s the May Day Bank holiday weekend and there’s loads going on in Ipswich Town Centre…

SIPSWICH 2026 continues, so why not try one of six trails (30 bars in total) around the town centre with friends before it ends on 5 May?

Saturday 2 May is all about Ipswich Town Football Club, with the town centre blue and white in support of the team as they play their last match of the season at home, with a win securing second place in the Championship table and automatic promotion to play Premier League teams next season!

Sunday 3 May sees a Vintage and Retro market in The Walk, with lots of small businesses and stallholders – great for a Sunday mooch! It also sees the May Day Festival in Alexandra Park, a great free occasion for families with young children!
