waves:
Location: 49 Butter Market, Ipswich town centre
Launched in June 2025, EatBagel brings a trendy new culinary experience into the town centre!
As the only bagel shop in town, they offer a range of traditional and new flavour combinations
along with a wide range of drinks for amazing prices – including flavoured matcha! With all the
bagels cooked fresh, traditionally boiled each day, and made with high quality ingredients,
EatBagel is definitely one to visit.

Location: Historic Grimwades building, The Cornhill
Opened on the 4th of July 2025, Jamaica Blue has transformed the long-empty Grimwades
building into a lively café-restaurant serving premium ‘blue mountain’ coffee and freshly made
dishes. Originally based in Australia, Ipswich is one of 23 branches to be opened in the whole of
the UK! Jamaica Blue offers a brilliant view of The Cornhill and the highstreet, the perfect place
to enjoy traditional dishes with a twist.

Location: St Peter’s Wharf, Ipswich Waterfront
Operating under Loungers UK, Marinero Lounge opened its doors in July 2025 in the restored
Burton & Son warehouse. This all‑day café-bar‑restaurant brings delicious breakfast, brunch,
tapas and a wide range of cocktails to the waterfront, with a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere.
Why not stop at Marineros for a pre-show meal or drinks, as it's located right next to Dance
East, or bring your furry friends to try this new dog-friendly venue in the town centre!

After being saved by the new owners, Hank’s Vegan Restaurant continues to serve a whole
host of completely vegan main meals, light bites, breakfasts and a great selection of beers and
cocktails, from a brand-new unit in the walk! A much-loved venue amongst vegans in Ipswich,
it's brilliant to see them flourish in a more central location. Hank’s also hosts a range of live
music, karaoke, open mic nights, themed nights and quiz nights for all to enjoy!

On the 19th July, Mugwort and Mistletoe, a holistic wellness shop opened in the Saints! After
Sacred Earth, a beloved business in the community announced its closure, owners Aimee and
Moss are continuing the legacy. Mugwort and Mistletoe combine retail and wellness, by offering
spiritual, health and handcrafted products as well as events and classes with wellbeing
practitioners for the community to enjoy! Definitely one to check out!
