Ipswich Windrush Society’s ‘The Reflection Room’ is a time capsule exhibition located in Sailmakers Shopping Centre, in the heart of Ipswich town centre.
The Reflection Room can be found upstairs in Sailmakers next to the Ed Sheeran mural at the top of the escalators near Boots. It showcases the stories of the Windrush Generation with a unique collection of memorabilia and a memorial wall honouring the local community.
Open 10am to 2pm, Tuesday to Friday there are guided tours available to talk through the items and their meaning.

We’re urgently looking for a new home for the Reflection Room display after being asked to leave our space at Sailmakers Shopping Centre before the end of 2024.
