Enjoy one, two or three hour boat trips along the River Orwell from Ipswich Waterfront along the Orwell Estuary and under the Orwell Bridge to see Harwich and Felixstowe Ports, or, hire the Orwell Lady for a private function or special event.
All River Trips start and finish at Orwell Quay, Ipswich Waterfront.
Orwell Quay is the area after Neptune Marina and the university, between CoffeeLink and the James Hehir building.
There is car parking adjacent to the berth that can be accessed via University Lane, which is off Duke Street, where there are several disabled parking bays. Please note this car park is cashless but accepts credit and debit cards or app payment, which you can download on your smart phone. If you do not have a smart phone you can also register and book parking in advance online. Blue badge parking is also available on University Avenue, just by the car park in Duke Street. There are also other car parks within short walking distance.
On occasion, the trip may finish slightly later than the time advertised due to factors beyond our control. Therefore we recommend you do not make plans for immediately after your trip and please allow enough time on your parking ticket.
