Elfida Restaurant

Turkish restaurant with hand-crafted cocktails

Opened in May 2026, this Turkish restaurant in Tacket Street is a modern, light space to enjoy wonderful Turkish food or enjoy a delicious cocktail with friends!

Offering tasty wood-fired soups, Turkish pizza from a smoky open kitchen for that authentic homely ambiance, Elfida is new family-run restaurant managed by Berhat Durmaz as a new place to eat good, Turkish food.

The restaurant’s specialities are Turkish soups and Turkish pide (a traditional boat-shaped flatbread often referred to as Turkish pizza) cooked in a large wood-fired oven.

Elfida is a restaurant with a small team, with Durmaz managing the restaurant alongside a business partner who brings more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Elfida is not a suit and tie restaurant, says Durmaz — the food is homemade, and the atmosphere is relaxed, so whether you are after a different kind of wood-fired pizza or a bowl of Turkish soup, Elfida is open daily from 8am to 11pm for relaxing drinking and dining in a quiet part of the town centre, just a short walk from Apex Blackfriars car park.
