4YP works with 7-25 year-olds at our town centre hub, in schools and out in the community. Our vision is that all children and young people have: 1) SOMEWHERE SAFE to go. 2) SOMETHING POSITIVE to do, and, 3) SOMEONE TRUSTED to connect and journey with.
Since it was founded in 2000, 4YP has provided a generic wraparound support for young people which is determined by their individual needs along with a range of clinical and therapeutic services for young people with identified poor mental health and wellbeing.
At our town centre hub we provide a counselling service, youth work 1:1s, open access drop-ins and needs-tailored small groups.
In schools, 4YP provide tailored services to meet the individual needs of each school, comprising onsite counsellors and youth workers, youth social prescribing and extended programmes during academic holidays. 4YP is currently operating across 18 schools.
Community spokes are determined by local need, and wherever possible delivered in partnership, and include youth clubs, hospital embedded youth workers and detached/street-based youth workers.
