An illustrated talk by Susan Jones from the British Trust for Ornithology takes place on Wednesday 26 March 2025 at 7.30pm as a special Suffolk Wildlife Trust event.
Thousands of people record the birds which visit their gardens each week and send their results to the British Trust for Ornithology.
Susan will explain how this simple bit of citizen science is used to monitor important changes in the populations of some of our best loved birds. More importantly, that data is used to try to find reasons for change and suggest how it might be possible to reverse worrying declines.
The event is open to all, with admission just £3 for adults over 25, which includes a hot drink in the interval and under 25’s free.
Brought to you by Ipswich Central, the Business Improvement District (BID) for the town centre and waterfront thanks to Ipswich Borough Council and Towns Deal funding.
