Ipswich Tea Walks

1.30pm to 3pm at Ipswich Institute

The Ipswich Tourist Guides are a small group of volunteers who organise short guided walks around Ipswich town centre (Suffolk’s County Town) and the oldest town in England!

All tour guides and are trained and keen to share their knowledge of the history and culture of the fascinating East Anglian port town that is Ipswich.

On a Walk you may hear about the history of Ipswich, and about its famous residents and visitors, including Dickens, Ransome, and Cardinal Thomas Wolsey.

Starting Location: All walks will start at The Ipswich Institute,15 Tavern Street, Ipswich IP1 3AA.

Times: Please arrive 10 minutes early for registration. the duration of all walks is approximately 90 minutes, unless otherwise stated. 

Accessibility: All walks are designed for step free access. Assistance dogs are welcome. Other dogs cannot be accommodated.

Health and Safety: The pace of the walk will be adjusted for the comfort of all and the walk will commence with a short health and safety briefing. All walks are strictly no smoking.
