Ipswich Market is a small traditional market that operates every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9am till 4pm. It is located on the Cornhill between Lloyds Avenue and Giles Circus.
Managed by Ipswich Borough Council, Ipswich market was given its first Royal Charter in 1317 by Edward II. There are a range of goods for sale from fresh fish, local fruit and vegetables, fresh farm produce, bread and cakes, clothing and more.
In addition, Giles Circus offers a range of pop up street food from traditional burgers and bacon baps, to Caribbean, Mexican or Greek with vegan and other fresh foods on offer.
