Join HighTide Theatre Company – the home of East of England Playwrights – for a one-day celebration of new plays.
Feel like getting creative, or want to connect and build professional relationships? Spend the day with us in workshops, industry talks, and ‘artist speed dating!’
The day culminates in the Playwrights Showcase – seven short readings of brand-new plays by Louis Catfliff, Hazel Fattorusso, Grace Waga Glevey, Julie Mayhew, Sonny Nwachukwu, Aisling Towl and Katie Trollope.
All-day ticket: £18
Schedule:
11am – Arrive for a Welcome Brunch.
12pm – 1pm – Artist Speed Dating in NW2 (the gold-roofed building next to the main theatre).
2pm – 3pm – Panel discussion with East of England Arts Leaders in NW2.
3:30pm – 4:30pm – Reimagine the Future: Creative Writing Workshop with Vikki Stone in NW2.
5pm – HighTide Rising Playwrights Showcase in the New Wolsey Theatre auditorium.
7:30pm – 9pm – Playwrights’ Disco in NWT upstairs Lounge.
