2pm at Ipswich Institute
Ipswich is Suffolk’s County town, East Anglia’s Waterfront town and home of Ed Sheeran’s favourite team Ipswich Town Football Club!
Ipswich is one of the oldest recorded settlements in the UK and is steeped in history, with hidden gems around every corner. Enjoy a tour of the town by a trained volunteer guide, all of whom have many years experience and wide ranging knowledge of Ipswich’s past, present & future.
The Ipswich Tourist Guides Association offers scheduled themed walking tours on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon between May and September each year with differing themes, and even ‘armchair’ walks at a static location on request.
Walks are £6 per person starting at 2pm from Admiral’s House, 13 Tower Street and last 90 minutes.
