Guided Walk of Historic Ipswich

Thursday 1st May - Tuesday 30th September

Usually 90 minutes in the afternoon starting at Ipswich Institute

Enjoy a guided historic walk with Ipswich Tourist Guides every Tuesday or Thursday between May and the end of September!

The Ipswich Tourist Guides are a small group of volunteers who organise guided walks within the Borough of Ipswich, Suffolk’s County Town, and one of the oldest towns in England. They have all been trained as tour guides and are keen to share their knowledge of the history and culture of this fascinating East Anglian port.

Walks start from the Ipswich Institute at 15 Tavern Street, Ipswich, IP1 3AA and you do not have to be a member of the Institute to come on one of the walks.

Each Tuesday or Thursday walk costs £5 per person to attend and there is also an Afternoon Tea walk for £10 per person. Visit the Ipswich Institute website at the link provided to book.

Group Guided Walks can also be arranged for a family, a club or for business colleagues. Simply email or ring The Ipswich Institute or download and complete the ‘Group Booking Form’ below and email to: library@ipswichinstitute.org.uk
