This year’s Christmas Light switch on returns bigger and brighter with live music, seasonal entertainment and special guest appearances as the town officially welcomes the start of the Christmas period.
Thousands of people are expected to join the festivities once again, to enjoy an occasion packed with Christmas cheer for all ages.
New this year are incredible lights which are fully programmable, with the potential for full light shows which will bring the town to life every single night.
Mayor of Ipswich Pat Bruce-Browne will be undertaking the honours of switching on this year’s lights.
The switch on also marks the start of Ipswich Central’s Christmas Campaign – Follow the Stars.
