AR Binoculars

Thanks to the Digital Ipswich project by Ipswich Borough Council delivered with Town’s Deal funding, six locations in Ipswich town centre now have AR Binoculars in place, giving a glimpse of this part of town in times gone by!

Simply look through the binoculars to see moving digital images of period costume, horses and trams and what buildings would have been and boats would have looked like when the town was a working port. 

The six locations are: Christchurch Park, the Cornhill (in front of Ipswich Town Hall), Ipswich Waterfront (three locations, near Stoke Bridge, outside the Old Custom House and near The Mix / James Hehir Building).
