Inspiring Ipswich exhibition

A vibrant new ‘Inspiring Ipswich’ photography exhibition by John Ferguson is now on display around Ipswich town centre, thanks to a collaboration with Ipswich Central, the business improvement district for the town.

Ipswich Central is pleased to be working with world-renowned professional photographer and Ipswich resident John Ferguson to display a selection of his inspiring prints around the town centre.

On Monday 20 October, twenty images with inspiring quotes were installed around the town centre as a display for everyone to see and enjoy as they walk around the town – these can be found displayed in:

• The windows of Paddy & Scotts cafe on Ipswich Waterfront
• Around the former Edinburgh Woollen Mill in the Buttermarket, Ipswich
• Inside Sailmakers Shopping Centre, and;
• in some of the windows of the former Great White Horse Hotel on the corner of Tavern Street and Northgate Street.

A further twenty images are on display inside the former Boots unit in the Buttermarket Centre as a pop up exhibition until Sunday 26 October 2025, with the shop window posters remaining in place for a while longer.
