Ipswich is the place to be for live music for one dedicated weekend mid-June every year as Brighten the Corners Festival takes over the town!
Brighten The Corners Festival is Ipswich’s premier live music celebration, known for its eclectic lineup, unique venues, and vibrant spirit. Now in its fifth year, the festival has evolved into a key taste-making event that reflects the UK’s thriving music scene while championing Ipswich as an important cultural hub as the County town of Suffolk in the East of England.
Brighten The Corners is a not for profit organisation based in Ipswich that runs a year-round programme of live music, an annual festival and education and training programmes. BTC promotes live music events across its three venues The Baths (300 capacity), St Stephens Church (200 capacity) and The Smokehouse (70 capacity), as well as utilising the Corn Exchange and an open air stage on the Cornhill as additional venues in the town.
