This month in Ipswich, there’s plenty to look forward to, from spring events and live entertainment to family-friendly activities across the town.

Constable 250 exhibition NOW OPEN!

This year marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of Suffolk born artist John Constable (1776-1837), one of the most important British painters of all time.

To commemorate his life and work, the first of three exhibitions is now on display at Christchurch Mansion, featuring portraits he painted, thanks to National Lottery Heritage Funding.

Independent businesses in The Walk in Ipswich Town Centre are hosting a special pop-up market, this time with a ‘fashion’ theme.

25 April: BTC All Dayer

BTC All Dayer is a new grassroots festival and celebration of emerging, regional artists. The festival is free to attend and will be hosted across a variety of town-centre venues, including pubs and community hubs.
