The Steamboat Tavern is a wonderful, dog friendly, historical pub of character located on New Cut West, in Ipswich. It is well renowned for its live music and ever changing range of guest beers, with a comfortable beer garden in the back and seating on the quay at the front, overlooking the ‘New Cut’ of the river Orwell.
Run by landlord Andy and his friendly crew, the pub can cater for just about anything. From private parties, birthdays or weddings to folk festival weekends, disco fundraisers and charity all day events.
The pub offers a wide range of traditional Ales and Ciders, from both local and national breweries, as well as homemade and locally sourced food – the chilli cheesy chips being a particular customer favourite!
