Owner and Head Chef Julien Jourdain offers a french-inspired menu on this wonderful floating restaurant.
Mariners was established in 1900, built in Bruges as a gunboat. In the early seventies it was fitted out as a Party Boat and operated in Rotterdam for 18 years. In November 1990 it crossed to Harwich and was moored at Ipswich docks and was transformed into an Italian Restaurant. In 1994 it changed ownership and became a French Brasserie. Then, in June 2009 the venue relaunched as Mariners.
In October 2018 the restaurant was taken over by current owners Julian and Karine and renamed Mariners 1900.
