The Shamrock

The Irish-themed bar in Ipswich

The Shamrock opened in mid-2015 and is the place to enjoy a Guinness in Ipswich.

Experience the warmth of Irish hospitality at a traditional Irish pub in Ipswich town centre.

The Shamrock is the perfect place to unwind, have a drink and enjoy the company of our locals with a hearty and welcoming atmosphere (and a perfect pint of Guinness!) Where staff are friendly, polite, helpful and always up for a laugh.

The bar is decorated to give an authentic Irish feel inside, with an outdoor seating area too. As you would expect at any Irish pub, sports and other entertainment is played on TV screens throughout the week and weekend. During the weekend there are often sing alongs and live performers so it’s the perfect place to enjoy the Irish Craic!

Serving lunchtime food between 12pm and 3pm, there’s a great selection of dishes to suit everyone’s tastes including panini’s and jacket potatoes with different fillings available for those needing a quick bite to eat.

The best way to keep up with events and promotions is by following the pubs Facebook page.
