DiGBY and Beattie AR Trail

The DiGBY and Beattie Adventure Trail is available now and free to download from the app store; search ‘DigbyandBeattie’. To activate the trail, open the app and walk to each character’s AR stop. Once there, use the app to scan the character’s silhouette to unlock special animations and stories. 
 
You can explore the trail in one go or over multiple days—there’s no rush. And for those who complete the entire route, a special prize awaits. And if it’s raining, never fear… there is DiGBY’s fun Activity Pack that children can print out and get creative at home, drawing their favourite characters from around Ipswich. 
 
What is Augmented Reality (AR)? AR blends the real world with digital content. When you use a smartphone or tablet, AR allows you to see magical characters and animations in your real-life surroundings. It’s a fun, interactive way to explore Ipswich while learning new stories and unlocking surprises as you go.
