Bespoke jewellers Berridges have been in Ipswich since 1994. Opening the shop was the idea of Christopher Hardman and David Berridge. Both worked together at Croydons in Ipswich, forming a close working relationship. Since opening its doors, Berridges has remained one of the finest jewellers in the region.
We opened our doors on Dial Lane, Ipswich in October 1994 when Croydons closed it doors. Berridges offers a unique combination, with an independent jewellers downstairs and restaurant upstairs.
Vintage jewellery is still very much our thing, and recent acquisitions can be found at our online Vintage Shop.
We are very proud at Berridges to be able to say that all our jewellery is personally selected, we are a family business and likewise we like to deal with fellow family businesses. Most of the jewellery we have in stock today has strong family origins. Richard Hans Becker, Thomas Sabo, Georg Jensen, and Chimento to name a few.
The husband and wife team who own the business are ably supported by a wonderful team who strive to go the extra mile for customers and have a definite ‘can do’ attitude.
We are also incredibly proud to be celebrating 30 years in business this year (2024) and hope to see you in the shop and/or restaurant soon!
Brought to you by Ipswich Central, the Business Improvement District (BID) for the town centre and waterfront thanks to Ipswich Borough Council and Towns Deal funding.
