The annual summer street market returns to The Saints. This event brings together small businesses, artisans and creatives to celebrate the unique character of one of Ipswich historic areas. Expect a vibrant day packed with maker stalls, incredible food and drink, live music, face painting and a great community crowd.

The Vibe: Supporting local traders
If you love supporting independent businesses, the Buttermarket is the place to be on Sunday 21st June. The centre is transforming into a bustling hub of local commerce, highlighting the very best products, crafts and traders that Suffolk has to offer. Well worth a mooch.

The Vibe: Cultural, celebratory and historic
Monday 22nd June marks National Windrush Day, and this year the Suffolk Windrush Select Committee and Ipswich Borough Council are hosting a vibrant afternoon on the Cornhill to celebrate the 78th Anniversary 1948 to 2026.
The event kicks off with open speeches from Charles Challenger, the Ipswich Mayor, and poet Abe Gibson. Stay for live performances from Cherise Phillips, Nero Diamante and the Sound of Steel band, alongside a brilliant exhibition, market and food stalls. Everyone is welcome to come together, honour and celebrate.

The Vibe: West End energy and loud singalongs
Direct from London West End, the first national tour of Sing the Musicals is stopping in Ipswich. A sensational live band and character singers will perform the greatest hits of all time, backed by a giant screen with singalong lyrics. Get ready to lose your voice to songs from Mamma Mia, The Greatest Showman, Dirty Dancing, Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Rocky Horror, Mary Poppins, Oliver, We Will Rock You and many more.

The Vibe: Green shopping and retro fashion
The popular themed markets at The Walk are back, this time with a distinct Eco and Sustainability focus. Local traders and makers will gather for a one day showcase of handmade goods, preloved items and retro fashion. It is the perfect spot to pick up something unique while keeping your footprint light.
