12pm to 6pm at Alexandra Park
This year’s One Big Multicultural Festival will be held on Sunday 30 August 2026 and promises to be the biggest yet in terms of the variety of acts on stage and the many side stalls too!
This much anticipated annual event attracts over 5,000 visitors each year and this year, will be the 14th time the festival has been held in Alexandra Park.
The event is a collaboration between the charity BSC Multicultural Services and Ipswich Borough Council to put on a free, family-friendly afternoon of entertainment and it hopes each year to encourage collaboration and cohesion between the many different cultures and religions who choose to work and live in Ipswich.
The event kicks off at 12noon until 6pm and hosts for the afternoon will be Suffolk Sound radio station.
There will be a children’s funfair and sporting activities to have a go at including traditional Indian sport Kabaddi. Plus face-painting, henna art, bakes and cakes to enjoy.
