4pm – 7pm at New Wolsey Theatre
A free in-depth session designed to help performance makers and creative producers with Arts Council National Lottery Project Grand applications.
Led by New Wolsey Theatre Artistic Director and Chief Executive, Douglas Rintoul, the session is open to performance makers and creative producers at any stage of their application — whether you’re shaping an idea or refining a draft. We particularly welcome those based in, or connected to, Suffolk and the East Anglian region, working across theatre, dance, music, literature, visual arts or interdisciplinary practice.
This focused session will demystify the application process, offer practical guidance on developing a strong funding bid, and create a supportive space for discussion, reflection and peer exchange.
Following the session, participants are invited to stay for a shared evening experience, including a performance of Philosophy of the World and a Queer Joy Disco continuing until closing time.
Please note, this will be a physical session that will take place in NW2, the building with the gold-roof next to the theatre.
This event is part of the In the Works Festival – a vibrant celebration of bold new ideas and the very best local, regional and national artists. From theatre and music to art and spoken word, the festival offers audiences a vibrant mix of bold new writing, works‑in‑progress, experiments, and one‑off events.
