They are a warm & welcoming (dog friendly) pub and café with outside seating & heated patio garden for the finer weather and a cosy interior with log burning stove for the winter months. They're only yards from a community playground, popular dog walking routes and tourist hotspots - with free parking too!
They now serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Enjoy their delicious home cooked food alongside a range of fantastic coffees, teas 'n' cakes, local cask ales and fine wines. Check out their new menus here.
Their cask ales are still stored and served direct from the tap room. They stock a wide range on ales which they are proud to source from the local independent brewers of East Anglia.
The Moon and Mushroom has been recognised as offering outstanding quality of food, cask ales and hospitality. They've been awarded the Evening Star Suffolk Pub of The Year award on two occasions.
They have also featured in The Top 100 Cosiest Pubs In The UK selected by Event’s food and drink critics, Tom Parker Bowles and Olly Smith.
Their menu of special dishes changes regularly and details of these can be found on the board above the main fireplace in the bar. Traditional favourites are always available.
They welcome diners in the main bar area, in the snug and in their heated patio garden areas.
Throughout the year there are many events that take place at the Moon and Mushroom. Follow them on Instagram for all the information about forthcoming events.
