St John's Church
Sir Arthur Blomfield’s magnificent Victorian edifice replaced an earlier flint built church that had been-built at the same time as the Freehold Land Society developed ‘California’. St John’s has an intriguing and spacious interior with an east window in the memory of Church Warden, James Edward Ransome (Chairman RS&J) who lived at Home Leigh on Woodbridge Road.
