A sparkling festive spectacle!

The annual St Mary-le-Tower Christmas Tree Festival returns for it's 10th year, celebrating Ipswich and the town's communities with over 115 charity christmas trees installed in the church.

Every year the festival raises vital funds for the church community projects and music activities with schools in Ipswich as well as helping towards the upkeep of the magnificent church building, which is nearly 1,000yrs old! 

This year's supported charities are...

  • Headway Suffolk offering advice, rehabilitation and support services to anyone (over the age of 16) who has, during their lifetime, sustained a brain injury through traumatic accident, stroke, virus, tumour, neurological conditions or other similar event.
  • WASSUP ...a project run by local young women in Ipswich focussing on raising awareness of sexual exploitation, domestic abuse, honour-based violence and gang grooming. 
  • We Are Patrick ...WASSUP's youth social action programme delivered by young men in Ipswich.
