Trinity Park is home to the Suffolk Agricultural Association. Formed as a charity in 1831, the Association’s main purpose is to advance and promote agriculture and allied industries. This it achieves principally through the Suffolk Show, a two day event which attracts in the region of 80,000 – 90,000 visitors from across the region and is recognised as a premier event in the UK.
The Association organises conferences related to farming, horticulture and agriculture and runs a highly regarded education programme. The education programme aims to highlight to children and young people the link between food, farming and the countryside. Such projects include the School Farm Fair, the Suffolk Schools Competition and the Farm Links Project twinning local schools with local farms. To learn more about our education programme contact our Education Officer Hannah Woods.
As the trading subsidiary of the Suffolk Agricultural Association, Trinity Park Events is committed to supporting our local community. As well as helping local charities fundraise for their own special causes, all profits from our commercial activities are ploughed back into supporting the Association’s charitable programme including conferences and education projects with schools, colleges and universities.
