The Pin Mill Studio

The Pin Mill Studio is a beautiful creative space on the banks of the River Orwell next door to the famous Butt and Oyster pub. 

With a cafe overlooking the Pin Mill shoreline, a gallery space with regular exhibitions, studios for workshops and spaces for yoga, language and screenings - The Pin Mill Studio is a wonderful place full of character and creativity. The photographic studio is available for corporate and family photoshoots as well as being the space for photography courses and workshops.

The Studio is also come to The Sunshine Store, a charming gift shop with locally-made homewares, accessories and, of course, ice cream!

Spend a day or two on the beautiful Pin Mill shoreline learning to paint and draw with experience and supportive tutors. Giving aspiring artists the opportunity to explore their artist's eye, sketching and painting with professional guidance.

Print workshops with East Coast Print School...
Led by textile designer and experienced teacher Victoria Freeland, these workshops are suitable with all materials being provided. Play with effects and techniques and enjoy the beautiful evolution and happy accident that are the very essence of experimental printmaking. Victoria guides her workshops with plenty of support to help you create exciting and original fine art prints.
