Ipswich Symphony Orchestra

Saturday 30th November

7.30pm at Corn Exchange

Come and hear Saint – Saëns Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah, Dvorak’s Cello concerto in B minor and Beethoven’s Symphony no. 5 performed in Ipswich!

Ground-breaking from its very first performance, Beethoven’s Symphony no. 5 speaks of fate, of hope and of victory (a recording has even been sent into outer space!)

Another classical favourite in the programme is Dvorak’s cello concerto, with soloist, Adrian Brendel. A familiar presence at many of Europe’s leading festivals Adrian is a hugely versatile performer, playing classical and contemporary music as well as jazz improvisation.

Visit the Ipswich Theatres website to book tickets, speak to orchestra members or you can buy on the night at the door!
