Online stationery brand OHH DEER has opened in Ipswich!

First look into Ohh Deer's brand new Ipswich shop along The Walk.

Selling quirky illustrated gifts, Ohh Deer is an online store that works with over 100 illustrators globally to create fresh stationery, homewares, cards and gifts. They started to stock some of their products in high-street shops like Paperchase, John Lewis and Urban Outfitters but in 2016 Ohh Deer opened it's first store in co-founder Jamie's hometown of Loughborough.

The Loughborough store was so popular that the brand started to think about opening a second store and Ipswich, being the hometown of co-founder Mark Callaby, was in their sights! "Our first shop in Loughborough has been really well received." says Ipswich-born co-found Mark Callaby. "We want to grow and Jamie spotted this shop in Ipswich, it has got real character."

Having a trendy independent shop such as Ohh Deer opening a store in Ipswich will really help cement the town as a great place for independent, quirky shopping. Ipswich also has some wonderful quirky shops along St Peters Street like LoveOne (selling design-led gifts, crafty homewares, and one-of-a-kind stationery) which are already helping to bring a fresh, artsy feel to the town.

Ohh Deer create unique notebooks, stationery, homewares, gifts and cards.

The store will also host craft evenings and workshops.

Ohh Deer told us "Our store is based at 24 The Thoroughfare and we're very excited to bring to you all of our fun products and we will be looking to hold workshops and events in the shop. We definitely want it to become a creative space!"

The store opened on Saturday 1st April, with a launch party on Saturday 6th May.
