Adapted Shopping Hours

Many high street stores and independent shops have adapted their opening hours to help keep you and their staff safe and well.

PARKING

Most car parks in the town centre will be open from Monday 15th June, however some will have a reduced capacity to help give visitors space to maintain social distancing when getting out of their cars.

Crown Street Car Park will be offering FREE parking for up to 5 hours until Friday 3rd July.

PUBLIC TOILETS

The following toilets will be open be open to the public:

  • Major's Corner (near the Regent Theatre)
    10am-4pm, Monday to Sunday
  • Christchurch Park (east side of the park)
    11am-5pm, weekdays / 11am-7pm, weekends

Please note: whilst the Buttermarket Centre and Sailmakers Shopping Centre have reopened, their public toilets are remaining closed.
